New York Giants
Overall Outlook
The New York Giants were a Jekyll and Hyde team in 2014. After starting 3-2, the Giants hit a seven game losing streak, followed by a three game winning streak. The team finished the season at 6-10, and out of the playoffs for the second year in a row. However, the emergence of Odell Beckham Jr. was a big plus and a healthy stable of RBs and WRs will help this team win more. We see the Giants putting together a better season in 2015 on the basis of a solid offense and a mediocre schedule.
Offseason Moves
Key additions: RB Shane Vereen, OT Marshall Newhouse, DE George Selvie, NT Kenrick Ellis, OLB Jonathan Casillas, ILB J.T. Thomas, CB Josh Gordy, KR Dwayne Harris
Key losses: RB Peyton Hillis, WR Jerrel Jernigan, OT James Brewer, G Adam Snyder, C J.D. Walton, DE Mathias Kiwanuka, DT Mike Patterson, OLB Spencer Paysinger, OLB Jacquian Williams, CB Walter Thurmond, CB Terrell Thomas, CB Zackary Bowman, S Antrel Rolle, S Stevie Brown, S Quintin Demps
Offensive Outlook
The Giants went out and signed Shane Vereen as a 3rd down / change of pace back for 2015. He, along with Jennings and Williams should produce nicely in New York. Additionally, the Giants drafted Ereck Flowers, which should help the offense line improve. Look for a solid season from this unit in 2015

The Giants defense was quite bad in 2014, ranking 22nd in points allowed and 29th in yards allowed. On top of the poor rankings, New York is also dealing with the loss of Jason Pierre-Paul (as of this writing) who has not returned to the team after a fireworks accident earlier in the year. We see the Giants defense as a team that can make some plays, but will still be below average in most categories. We don't recommend them in DST situations.
