TOP 10 ROOKIE TE PROSPECTS - 2014


With TE being such a valuable position in today's NFL, it's valuable to have a game changer at the position if you want to succeed in Fantasy Football. Here is a list of the top 10 rookie TEs coming into the league in 2014.

Jace Amaro Texas Tech Jr 6'5" 265 1,2 Mostly a receiving TE who gains proper positioning in coverage and uses his large, soft hands to attack the ball in the air. He is dangerous after the catch and isn't easy to bring down.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins Washington Jr 6'6" 262 2 Good initial quickness off the snap and possesses very long arms and strong hands to get a clean release off the line of scrimmage. Reliable route-runner.
Troy Niklas Notre Dame rJr 6'7" 270 2 Uses his height and strength to get open against tight coverage, consistently winning the physical battle with opponents to create space. Good leaping ability, flashing the ability to extend and pluck.
C.J. Fiedorowicz Iowa Sr 6'6" 265 3,4 Good versatility, showing the ability to come off a down block to get past defenders as a receiver. Good body control and soft hands for such a large man.
Arthur Lynch Georgia rSr 6'5" 258 4 Lynch's strength and awareness as an in-line blocker rank among his most impressive attributes.
Crockett Gillmore Colorado State Sr 6'6" 260 4,5 Natural hands for the reception. High-points passes, showing impressive hand-eye coordination, timing on his leap and overall body control. Lacks burst.
Jake Murphy Utah Jr 6'4" 249 5 Soft hands, strong runner after the catch, showing the leg drive and toughness to fight through arm tackles. 24 years old.
Xavier Grimble Southern California rJr 6'4" 257 5,6 While he isn't exactly light-footed, he has deceptive speed down the seam due to his long strides and is an imposing runner after the catch.
Joe Don Duncan Dixie St rSr 6'3" 268 5,6 Possesses a relatively short but thick build with deceptive athleticism but not a top-notch athlete.
