CBS published a 12-team Fantasy mock draft today (see here: http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/story/24517813/offseason-extra-post-free-agency-mock-draft). It is a standard redraft format, so the rookies are discounted relative to Dynasty, and there are no IDPs, but it's still fun to see how players are viewed for 2014. Here are a few Round by Round thoughts of the latest CBS NFL 12-team Fantasy mock draft.
Round 1- Standard first round. A lot of RBs early. Stud WR,QBs, and Jimmy Graham late. Thought Ball at 10 was a stretch.
Round 2- Interesting to see so many sophomore RBs early. Lacy in first, then Gio Bernard, Le'Veon Bell and Zac Stacy.
Round 3- Big WR run. Six of 12 in fact. Value in Rodgers and Gronk if they stay healthy in 2014.
Round 4- Felt like a flyer round. Tate, Jennings, Ridley, CJ2K, Rice all have questions to answer.
Round 5- Predict Patterson will be a steal in Round 5. Top 10 potential in Turner offense.
Round 6- Tail end of the start-able QBs go. Ryan, Kaep, Luck, Brady.
Round 7- Starting to wind down the TEs. Witten, Pitta and Cameron.
Round 8- Olsen is a nice pick here as the only proven pass catcher for the Panthers.
Round 9- Underachiever central. Greene, Nicks, McFadden, Ingram.
Round 10- Time to start hand-cuffs. Pierce might be a real stud here with Rice's troubles last year.
Round 11- Foles and Newton going this late seems crazy. Great value there.
Round 12- I like Hunter and Stills this late
Round 13- Flyers
Round 14- Defenses
Round 15- Kickers
