Six MORE IDP Free Agent Moves That Could Affect You!

Jared Allen DE CHI - The former Minnesota Viking and Kansas City Chief will be taking his talents to the Windy City. The Chicago Bears releasing of Julius Peppers made room for Allen as well as DE Lamarr Houston. Allen should continue to produce 50+ tackles and 10+ sacks as a Bears, and is as consistent a player as any in the NFL. His age drops his rank in dynasty, but if you need a DE2 for now, he's quality.

Henry Melton DT DAL - The Texas star will reunite with old defensive coach Rod Marinelli in Dallas, which should be a good thing for Melton. The Defensive Tackle is motivated as well, since his contract is definitely team friendly this year but could be worth $9mm next year if Dallas options to keep him. Melton is one of the better fantasy DT options with 40 tackle and 6 sack upside this season.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB NYG - The former New York Jet decided to stay in the Big Apple, but switched colors from green to blue.  The 2008 first round pick is part of a major overhaul for the Gmen, who've brought in Walter Thurmond, and Quintin Demps as well.  DRC will be on the field often, and likely be the target of a good number of passes, so expect 30 tackles, 3-4 INTs, and 15-20 passes defensed in 2014.

Kendrick Lewis FS HOU - The 26 year old, four year starter in Kansas City, joins Romeo Crennel in Houston this year. The Mississippi alum is  expected to be the third Safety on the depth chart for the Texans, but could change significantly as they are milling the release of Danieal Manning. If Manning is out, expect OK numbers out of Lewis, like 70 tackles and 5-10 passes defensed.

Arthur Moats LB PIT - The ex Buffalo Bill will get a shot to start opposite Lawrence Timmons in Pittsburgh. A 12-game starter last season, Moats recorded 54 tackles in only 301 snaps, performing as an able run-stopper. Also, he recently turned 26, so he's got age on his side for the Steelers. If he wins the job, expect 80-100 tackles and 3-5 sacks annually for a few years.

Justin Tuck DE OAK - The former Notre Dame star has moved to Oakland and will start at DE for the Raiders. The 30 year old physical freak has been inconsistent at times in his years with the Giants, but showed some real positive signs at the end of last season. In his final six games of 2013, he produced 29 tackles (including 8 TFL) and 9.5 sacks. If he stays healthy, Tuck has 60 tackle, 12-14 sack potential.
